My REAL and UNREAL Halloween decorations

I decorated the house not too long ago with some silhouettes I made out of black poster board. My sitter walked up a couple of days later to the front porch and told me she loved what I had done to the house and she especially loved the big spider I hung by the door. It really looked real! I was completely confused...see I didn't hang any spider...I hate spiders!

There it was about the size of my palm a yellow and black spider by the front door! Kimbell said it's a Banana spider...whatever that is...and it won't hurt anyone. I took a picture of it for you to see. It definitely adds to the Halloween decorations..don't ya think!(: Yikes!

A book review for you!

I wanted to recommend a book to you in the spirit of Halloween. It's the book, The Heretic's Daughter. I just finished reading it and recommend it if you are in the mood for a history lesson on the Salem Witch Trails. Which I know isn't for everyone! It really was eye opening for me and absolutely horrible what people, especially women, had to endure during the late 1600's.

The author is an actual descendant of a family who eventually was charged with witchcraft. She studied the trails and came upon tons of letters and history logs concerning her family. What's sad is that most of these women that were charged were Christian ladies who were for one reason or another misunderstood or not liked in their community.

It's a fast read and definitely keeps your attention. The book also teaches you a little about love, sacrifice, and the family bond we share with each other. It does have a real heart warming side to it so get out some tissues.

Mally's Wellies

When mom and I went to the beach we bought the girls some matching clothes and wellies...rain boots! We thought they were adorable! See she had a pair last year with cherries on them and literally wore them everyday with everything!

Whew! Those things stunk so bad after a few months! I just have to find some kind of shoe powder for her because she seems to like these just as much as her cherry ones!

FYI- She gets the stinky feet from daddy not me!(:

Beach Pictures

I wanted to share some pictures I took of the girls in Destin this past week. They turned out good so I posted some trying not to do my favs because of Christmas coming. I know I will use some for presents and cards. I just wish Kimbell would have been there.):

Destin in October

Really...there is no other place I'd rather be than Destin in October. It's absolutely beautiful this time of year. The water was as calm as the lake and crystal blue. It wasn't too hot and NO ONE was there! It was an amazing trip!

My mom and I took the girls down...since Kimbell had school and Joe had to work. I'm so glad I took this "Girls Trip"! They loved the beach...of course they would they're MY girls and we stayed out for hours at a time. I hated leaving even though I had missed my fellows. Mom is staying at her condo for another week...can you blame her!?

I took 7 rolls of film in just 3 days! crazy! I posted some photos from the digital camera that I thought were cute!

Another Corks and Canvas Night

We had another fun night at the Auburn Chamber painting. The Angel painting we were doing was beautiful! What's fun is everyone puts their own personality and style into it so everyone comes out with something different...even though we're all doing the same one!

Tamara, Jodi and I all catered ours to our children which was fun and different. I think we were concentrating so hard though we didn't even have any wine! We were there for 3 hours...but it flew by! I thought the paintings all turned out great and we had a ball as always! Hope to get a bigger group up next time!(: Come on ladies don't be timid!(:

The Missing One

OK, I saw this picture...thanks for letting me steal it, Barclay..... and couldn't resist. See that empty chair? That's where I was suppose to be Saturday! But, Noooooo. My hubbie has to be a Bama fan and therefore tailgating for an AU game would be betrayal on his part.):

I had to take this opportunity to say next time that seat will be filled with my big, white, well cream colored bottom.(: Until next time ladies.

**VERY LAST THING- I would've had to trade places with Jodi to get my good side. I know yal wouldn't mind though!

Auburn, Puppies, and Bath Time!

What do all these things have in common? Our weekend!

First, on Saturday Kimbell had his best buddy and cousin, Will, come over to play some soccer/football/baseball etc. They had a ball since Kimbell wore his Bama jersey and Will had on Auburn..they were enemies from the get go!

Later, I took the girls to do a little shopping at TT and see cousin Judi at my mom's house right down the street. She's my second cousin and she brought her precious puppies, Ellie Dyas Wells and Sugar Dyas Wells. They really are PRECIOUS!!

Lastly, I bought the girls these bath crayons at the bookstore and so we had fun bathing them and coloring all at the same time. It really was a busy yet fun weekend, despite Auburn losing. I also did really miss Jodi and Paul's tailgate, but maybe next time.):

War Eagle... Kimbell Nappier Style!

Some friends of ours had their last name put on their son's football jersey. I thought that was so cool...so did Kimbell.... so we did it, too!(: Yes, we're copy cats! Anyway, it was only a couple dollars and we took the jersey to that Stamp store DT. I thought it turned out really cute! Kimbell looks so handsome in it so I wanted to share the picture with everyone. Have a great weekend and War D@#e Eagle!!!

Wordless Wednesday

Movies and Martinis......

......well, actually JUST martinis because the projector was broken at the theatre so we couldn't go see the movie, "The Women". We were a little disappointed, but we went to Amsterdam Cafe instead and had a really good time! It was packed , but we sat outside. That's always a good thing because we tend to all talk over each other and get a little loud.(: We were so proud of Kim (last picture) because she showed up after work to come hang out with us. Anyways, enjoy the pictures...until next time, ladies.

BTW- Heather, pretty girl in the purple, came straight from a wedding where she was a bridesmaid...like her dress!?(: JK! Heather...we love you!
