School Days!!!

Mally and Kimbell waiting on the bus.
Mally and SK... they are so cute!

I guess I am glad school has started. I am having a really hard time with Mally starting BIG GIRL school at AEEC. She's just growing up so fast! Kimbell didn't have but three weeks of summer because of baseball, but he seems fine.

Mally rode the bus for the first time and waved to me till I couldn't see her anymore...gosh...I love that girl! I just hope they have a great year filled with fun and learn a lot. Claire will start next year so at least I still have one baby at home. Good luck K and M! I love yal!

Kimbell made the Auburn Orange All Star team this year and has had the best time playing with his teammates. Baseball or practice nightly? Sounds like heaven to Kimbell! I am so proud of our boys they have really become a true team that will go far. The girls have truly become baseball lil sisters and constantly come to me asking if he won...or Kimbell did good...they are too funny! Keep up the great work AO!

Valentine's day in 2011

Claire's lil heart booty.

A sweet Valentine treat from one of my many loving kids I teach. Made my day!

My new perfume! Chanel No 5...so yumo!

Oh my! I told you its not what it was 20 years ago.

High on life and candy!

Wow! What a Valentine's day! I tell ya...it's not what it was 20 years ago. Especially, with my being a teacher this year. I had tons of sweet yummy gifts to bring home and I'm about to head to the gym to try and shed some five pounds I probably gained from all the candy consumption!Ugh!(: Anyway, the kids had a great one and momma got her new perfume she wanted so all is well here. Now...if I can just secretly throw out all this candy and chocolate we have without the girls knowing life will be good again. Any ideas?? Thoughts?? Hmmm??

A Lil Late I Know....

Ed Dyas

Mally

Kimbell

Claire Bear

My three sweeties!

....but I have been meaning to post these photos.... it seems like for ages.... soooo why not now?

Yes, they are the same ones I put on our 2010 Christmas card, but they are some of my very favorites! It only took 15 minutes to compile my card...does it get any easier than that for a family card? I think not! No, there were no faces to clean and hairs to be brushed beforehand.... just them being themselves! I grabbed up the camera and what ya see is what ya get!

I think they turned out pretty good. With the season ending like it did for Auburn I must say my timing was impeccable! I think I was the only one in my family to not attend the national championship game...and WHAT A GAME! Wow!!!

I also wanted to say a little goodbye to Ed Dyas one of my distant relatives who was an Auburn football player and All American many moons ago. He passed away a week ago in Mobile from stomach cancer and was a true Auburn legend. I heard before he passed that he had been ecstatic about Auburns win in Arizona. You will be greatly missed, Ed.

Which leads me to this...WARRRRR EAGLE..HEY!

Faith, Love, Joy, Hope, Patience in 2011

post signature

Faith

Faith is the substance of things hoped for,

the evidence of things not seen.

Some men have many reasons why they cannot do what they want,

when all they really need is one reason why they can.

Love

The greatest happiness of life is the conviction that we are loved,

loved for ourselves, or rather loved in spite of ourselves.

Love knows no limit to its endurance, no end to its trust, no fading of its hope;

it can outlast anything. Love still stands when all else has fallen.

Fall in love with yourself and you have no rivals.

Joy

It isn't our position but our disposition that makes us happy.

A smile is a curve that can set a lot of things straight.

It is good to let a little sunshine out as well as in.

Hope

The man who rows the boat doesn't have time to rock it.

It is better to wear out than to rust out.

You can't slide uphill.

Patience

Patience is not passive; on the contrary it is active; it is concentrated strength.

Toil awhile, endure awhile, believe always, and never turn back.

Understanding is the secret of withstanding.

Waste of time is the most extravagant and costly of all expenses.

I wish you much love in 2011. May all your dreams come true!
