Happy Birthday, Joe!!!!!!

I want to give a big "shout out" to my hubbie on his b'day. I know he doesn't want me to post anything...yes, Amanda he has blogaphobia! I couldn't resist this picture of him with the kids though...what a wonderful dad he is! We are so very lucky!(:
On another note...the song playing, Last Kiss, was one we listened to when we were dating and he could NEVER get the words right so I taught them to him. He STILL sings it around the house all the time.(:

What a fun night we had for Amanda's 38th! I mean she doesn't look a day over 37 1/2! JK. Amanda, you look GREAT!! We really did have a wonderful time...and what better reason to celebrate with friends! Even Tommy came out to celebrate!

What a great movie!!! If you have the time...and like musicals GO SEE MAMMA MIA!!! I loved it! We went with our friends, Kam and Drew, who also loved it and had a ball! I wanted to get up and dance during the whole thing. Kam DID on her way out! We had seen the play on Broadway in NY last December and loved it so much so we HAD to see the movie. The main character is beautiful and VERY talented so maybe that will get those hubbies interested.(:

I wanted to make a little slide show of my favorite photos of the kids that I took this summer. I put together this Smilebox slideshow. As I did I felt this overwhelmingly blissful sensation come over me because I was looking at photos of healthy, happy children who I loved so dearly. I realized how blessed I am.

If only I would take the time each day to stop letting everyday stress get in the way of my realizing how lucky I am. Crazy how life passes by so fast and so many people don't ever realize how blessed they are...I'm not going to be one of those people!

Time with Friends...Old and New

Part of Joe's work is to entertain...and we do a lot of it! MY favorite part is getting to spend time with old and new friends. We have been so fortunate to make so many new friends with his career. They have become so dear to me/us! We are very lucky! And of course I love hanging out with the VERY old friends, too. I've know Molly since early elementary school! We're like sisters it seems. Just wanted to share.!
