Old cemetery
Notice the headstones along the wall. Yankees stayed there and destroyed the cemetery. They didn't know where to put the headstones when rebuilding so they lined them up against the wall.
The soldiers also messed up some of the headstones. Changing dates and ages of the deceased.Just wanted to share some photos from out trip to Savannah. It was beautiful and never a dull moment! So much to see and do! Hope I can go back one day.
