Kimbell's Soccer Game

Kimbell started back soccer yesterday. He is going to have a great team this season! Jared, who is one of his best friends, is on his team and the team is actually sponsored by Jared's dad, Drew.

We love to watch him play. He is really good! He's got some fancy footwork down, too! He has played since he was four and it amazes us each year how much better all the kids have gotten! Just wanted to share a picture of my cutie and his buddy.

Easter Memories

We had a great Easter! We went to eat lunch with friends and then had family over for an Easter dinner and egg hunt. Kimbell didn't get home until later that night so we really missed him, but he made it back safely. I told him he can't ever go on another trip until he's about 20! I missed him too much! Hope everyone had a special Easter day!

We'll miss you brother!

Kimbell left today for the Bahamas. He just got back from my mom's condo in Destin on Tuesday. What a little traveler he is! We are going to miss him so much! Joe informed me this morning right before he went that we might not be able to talk with him until he gets back....which isn't until SUNDAY!!! I'm going to go crazy!
He is flying with Joe's family in a private plane and Joe said that they talked about how much we love him and God loves him. He said Kimbell talked abut how Jesus died on the cross. His knowledge is unreal sometimes! I thought about when he told Joe that he wasn't going to drink beer because preachers don't. He said instead he is going to be a preacher and let old ladies bake him pies!
Joe called me when they were taking off and we were both teary eyed. What a special child he is. He has the kindest heart! Anyway, pray for his safe flying and safe return home. We'll miss you bro bro!!! Especially little Mally. (Sad photo to the above left):

Our Little Claire Bear

Claire is so tiny! She is almost 14 months and only weighs 21 lbs. I know most of you have heard me comment about it, but when Joe came out of the bathroom holding her like a tiny infant I had to take some pictures of her. We were cracking up!

Although, she may be tiny her personality makes up for it. She definitely has the Napoleon complex and a big ATTITUDE!

Mally's Easter Egg Hunt

Mally had an Easter egg hunt at Parkway on Thursday. She was so funny because she knew exactly what to do and she was SERIOUS about it! I had her in the cutest Easter play dress that morning, but she's getting opinionated about her clothes...already! I hope you enjoy the photos....she's so funny!

I'm alive and well recovered after my surgery. I just wanted everyone to know it was really no big deal!(: I want to thank my WONDERFUL husband who has taken such wonderful care of me and the kids and also thank my dear friends. Your cares and concerns, food, gifts etc. were so sweet!
I'm getting back to reality now and back in the groove of things. When you have little ones relying on you it's hard to stay in bed. I will be back shortly writing about more interesting topics...like...my kids!
All of this had made me realize how lucky in life I am. We all complain day to day about stuff....BUT aren't we all so blessed. Knowing God is a wonderful thing! Can I hear an Amen!

I Love My.....

Aubie doll!!! Mally has a new obsession...Aubie! She can't get enough of him! It's so funny. She'll sit in my lap at the basketball game the whole time and won't take her eyes off of him. I'm going to try and get her to give him her pacie. We'll see if it works. She has an Aubie book and another doll that sings the Auburn fight song...thanks to Jared.(: Maybe she'll get brave enough to meet him one day! She even knows the fight song! War Eagle!!!!

Surgery..ahhhhhhh!

O.k. so as most OR all of you know I am having a little minor surgery tomorrow. I am a little nervous, but I came across this bible verse...it was on my blog the other day...and it helped me feel more at ease and at peace with everything going on right now. It's Joshua 1:9. It basically says not to be nervous because the Lord walks with you and is there with you always. What peace that should give us all!(:
I am so bad about trying to put everything on myself and I need to just be letting God take control. It's hard letting go of that control, but that's what the Lord God says to do. I HAVE to trust in him. I HAVE to put my life in his hands. I shouldn't worry.
I am done rambling on, but please say a little prayer for me and wish me luck!

My little Rocker Boys!!

Kimbell and his friends (Brett and Jared) went to a "rockin" birthday party today and had the best time. It was little Macy's party down the street. I had to take some pictures of them all cool and stuff. They named themselves the Tye Dyed Band (because of their hair)! Check them out rockin away!
