Wow! What can I say besides...wow! Can you believe Auburn got another beautiful snow? It was absolutely beautiful! The kids had a blast playing in it ALL day long. Kimbell was literally out there from 10-6...we had to go look for him that night and drag him in! I just thought it was the perfect beginning to the Valentine's weekend. Maybe...we'll get blessed with another one this year! Fingers crossed here!

Claire had her Valentine's party at Parkway Thursday. Her class is so cute...including sweet Wilson...her boyfriend. Well, he may not be her boyfriend...she is just three, but they sure are giddy around each other! Young love...such a sweet sweet thing.

When I walk in my bathroom to get the girls out of the tub and see this?? Gasp! What in the world were they doing in here? I mean really...do the girls have some underlying anger issues I'm not familiar with yet?

No, you think it's normal? Well, I sure hope so! Think I'll ban baby doll usage for a little while till things calm down around here. Let's stick to colors and blocks for the time being. Keep things as peaceful as possible. LOL, never a dull moment!

Congratulations Bro Bro!

Kimbell was nominated for a Star Athlete Award by his coaches and peers for the 2009 year. The ceremony was at Sports Academy yesterday. He was nominated among 24 other peers out of 4500 Sports Academy participants. They picked an All Star Athlete of the year...one boy and girl for 2009. He wasn't picked, but to us he already is an All Star. Great job Kimbell! Keep up the great attitude and hard work and you will get far in life. We love you bro bro.

OH...I nearly forgot! He scored an amazing 22 pts. at his Upward basketball game Saturday! Way to go, buddy!

Claire's Class Party!

Claire bear had a blast at her class party yesterday! She wanted a purple birthday...at least that's what she told me The kids enjoyed snacks and cupcakes...yummy! Gourmet Tiger made the cutest purple princess crown sugar cookies for a goody treat to take home, but I forgot to take a picture. Oh well. Still, can't believe she's 3! Ugh!

Silly Silly Girl!

What can I say about Claire besides she's such a silly silly girl! She cracks me up ALL day long! She has the funniest personality and people just seem to gravitate towards her like a magnet! She's an independent soul and definitely a leader. She turns three in a couple weeks and says she wants a Spider man birthday. I can't believe she'll be three! It's flown by! Can't wait to see what she does next! Stay tuned!!!

It's like you blink and your little one is a young man or woman....it's frightening! SO...cherish these lil moments with them! Give more hugs and kisses than you can count! Play in the rain with them....love them endlessly cause before you know it...they'll be all grown up.

That's my girl!

Hats or heels??? That's the BIG question of the day. It seems like my girls have the best of both worlds, and I'm SO glad! They love being girlie girls with their makeup kits, hair bows, dolls, and bubble baths. On the other hand, they can get dirty and be tough just like their brother. Or just enjoy hanging out with the guys. Claire STILL thinks she can pee standing up...goodness me! So what ya think...hats or heels?? I say both! Why not enjoy a lil of both worlds!? Life's too short ya know. Enjoy it!

We did our annual thing again New Year's day. This year we headed to Pike Road, AL to the Coley's house for some fabulous food, lots of fun, and getting together with good ole friends. Everyone seemed to have a great time. The kids played like old friends that have known each other forever. They all change so much from year to year...it amazes me! Can't wait til next year guys! Scott and Jennifer, you better not stand us up again! JK

It's the Little Things in Life.

Mally and Claire got one of those really cool See-Saws for Christmas. They were still in their pajamas when they couldn't resist the urge to run out and test drive it. They were in absolute heaven! Just look at those faces!

As I stood there watching and laughing I realized that this little moment is the type we often don't take the time to cherish and hold dear. It's the little things in life that make me so very happy. What about you??
